- A new event, "SCORE MATCH Round 23", will run from 9:00 am on December 28 to 8:00 am on January 6 UTC.
- Rewards include SR Matsuura Kanan, SR Ohara Mari and R Nanako Yamauchi.
- Choose a difficulty level, and you will be automatically matched with up to three other players. A random Live Show will be selected, and all players will start the Live Show at the same time. At the end of the Live Show, you will be ranked according to your score, and you will receive Event Points based on the difficulty level and your rank.

- The new event, "Medley Festival Round 8", will run from 9:00 AM on December 14 to 8:00 AM on December 22 UTC.
- Rewards include SR Minami Kotori and R Kyoko Sasahara.
- Event Description
- Select the number of songs you want to play between one to three, and then select a difficulty. The songs will be automatically selected.
- Use Gs to add Special Effects to your festival. These give you additional bonus effects during the performances.
- Your Friends or other students may come to support you before you start the medley. They can give you a boost as well.
- You will receive Event Pts. for successfully completing a medley. The amount of Event Pts. you receive will vary depending on various factors, such as your final score, combos you managed to string, and Special Effects and support bonuses.
- You can also receive Gold, Silver and Bronze rewards from the Medley Festival. You are more likely to receive Gold and Silver rewards for completing the Medley Festival on higher difficulties.
- Additional Notes
- Your Stamina and combo string will get carried over to the next song if you play more than one song.
- If you fail to complete a medley, you will not receive the completion rewards and receive little or no Event Pts.
- Event Songs
- Selected randomly every time you play.
- If you play more than one song, all consecutive songs will be of the same attribute as the first song.
- If you play more than one song, the same songs will not be repeated for the duration of that medley session.
- There are eight different songs per attribute on each difficulty levels (EXPERT songs are slightly different).

- Member Skill Mechanics Updated
- The way you increase member Skill Lever will be changed. You will need to Practice with a member with the same Skill or with a Support Member to gain Skill Exp, and the level will go up after collecting enough Exp. In addition, you will be able to select a Support member to Practice with regardless of their rarity.
- The Attribute of the Support member still needs to be the same.
- Skill Exp received is not affected by Super Success or Ultra Success.
- The way you increase member Skill Lever will be changed. You will need to Practice with a member with the same Skill or with a Support Member to gain Skill Exp, and the level will go up after collecting enough Exp. In addition, you will be able to select a Support member to Practice with regardless of their rarity.
- Leader Skills Updated

You can now use Stickers instead of a practice partner. How many stickers you'll need depend on the rarity if the host member. - Idolized members
Idolized members who still have locked skill slots can be Special Practiced again to unlock them. You can unlock two slots with a practice partner, or one slot with Stickers.- All previously Idolized members will automatically unlock a skill slot after the update.
- Using an Idolized member as a Practice partner or Removing them will now give one Sticker instead of two.
-SSR is a new rarity being added with the update.

- There will be more ways to Idolize your club members. Special Practice will also unlock slots for School Idol Skills.

- You will find this new feature packed full of goodies in the Live Show results screen. Perform more Live Shows to fill up the gauge to open them. There are different grades to the Reward Box, and a box containing better items will require more points to open!
- School Idol Skills
- You can get these from the Reward Box. By setting these skills to your favorite school idols, you can greatly enhance their performances! The number of slots required by School Idol Skills can vary from one to four slots, depending on how powerful the skill is.

- You will receive Event Pts. for successfully completing a medley. The amount of Event Pts. you receive will vary depending on various factors, such as your final score, combos you managed to string, and Special Effects and support bonuses.
- You can also receive Gold, Silver and Bronze rewards from the Medley Festival. You are more likely to receive Gold and Silver rewards for completing the Medley Festival on higher difficulties.
- Additional Notes
- Your Stamina and combo string will get carried over to the next song if you play more than one song.
- If you fail to complete a medley, you will not receive the completion rewards and receive little or no Event Pts.

- The app has been updated on Monday, May 16 UTC. The details of the update are as follows:
- Goals
- The Goals feature has been updated by merging the old Goals and Album Rewards. As with the previous version, the new Goals are completed automatically by meeting the requirements. In addition to regular Goals, there are Goals that trigger other Goals, and Goals that have time limits. Goals and Album Rewards you have already completed and the rewards you have received can be checked by going to the "Cleared" page in the Goals section. The progress you have made with the previous Goals and Album Rewards will be automatically transferred to the new Goals. When a song is unlocked by completing a Goal, all three difficulties, Easy, Normal, and Hard, of that song are unlocked at the same time.
- Notes:
- Goal requirements starts to count from the time when the Goals become available.
- Some Hit Songs can be unlocked by completing several different Goals. If you unlock a Hit Song by completing a Goal, the Hit Song that was listed on the other Goals will be replaced with another Hit Song.
- Most rewards, apart from the Titles and Wallpapers, are sent to your Present Box.
- If a Goal requirement specifies a certain team, you must include all members of that unit.
- Notes:

To view and set your Wallpaper, go to Other, then Wallpapers. You will automatically receive some Wallpapers if you have already achieved the requirements before the update.
- Stickers
- You will now receive Stickers when you Remove or Practice with an R or above member: one Sticker for non-Idolized members, and two Stickers for Idolized members. There are three types of Stickers: Normal Stickers for R, Super Stickers for SR, and Ultra Stickers for UR. These Stickers can be exchanged for special members and items at the Sticker Shop.

- SIF Score Challenge 2016 Event Details
- The SIF Score Challenge 2016 is the first ever Love Live! School Idol Festival (English version) offline competition event. Participants compete to see who can record the highest scores on the devices provided with specified teams and songs. Individual scores will be constantly posted on the score board during the event, and the highest score holder at the end of all rounds will be the winner.
- ROUNDS
- There are five separate rounds to the event.
- Round 1 - 25 March 17:15 to 18:45 (EST)
- Round 2 - 26 March 11:00 to 12:30 (EST)
- Round 3 - 26 March 13:30 to 15:00 (EST)
- Round 4 - 26 March 16:00 to 17:30 (EST)
- Round 5 - 27 March 11:30 to 13:00 (EST)
- There are five separate rounds to the event.

- REWARDS
- The highest scoring players from each round are the finalists, and they will each receive an SIF Score Challenge 2016 special hoodie.
- The highest score holder among the finalists is the winner, and wins a round trip to Tokyo to attend the finals of the SIF National Competition 2016 being held on 21 and 22 May.
- All players are welcome, from stage-hardened veterans to those who have just joined Otonokizaka. So don't be shy and submit your entry!
- Note: Submission of the application form does not guarantee entry. If we receive many applications, we may perform a selection lottery. If you are selected, we will contact you via in-game notification.

- During the event, special "Ball" rhythm icons will appear in all Live Shows.
- Touch these icons to get Ball and Event Points.
- Use Ball to play the B-Side "Futari Happiness", where you can get more than the normal amount of Event Points.
- The amount of Event Points you can get in "Futari Happiness" depends on your Score and Combo Rank.
- During the event, special "Ball" rhythm icons will appear in all Live Shows.
- We plan to add "Futari Happiness" as a Hit song sometime after the event has finished.
- You will not receive Event Points for Live Shows completed after 8:00 am on March 14 UTC, even if you start before this time.
- We will also be running the following specials from midnight on March 11 UTC until the end of the event.
- x4 Event Songs - Four times the amount of Ball are required to play these songs, but you will also receive four time the Event Pts.
- Live rewards such as EXP, G, number of Members, and Member levels are the same as for regular event songs.
- Expert Event Song - A higher difficulty version of the event song is available under B-Sides, Expert.
- 75 Ball required.
- Random Notes Expert Event Song - The same Expert Event Song as above, but the Notes are randomized!
- Playing any of the three versions above will not count towards the Event Song Ranking.
- Certain Normal and above songs give out more Gold than usual: 150% from Normal, 200% from Hard, 300% from Expert.
- Eligible songs change every day.

- The new event, "Medley Festival Round 3", will run from 9:00 AM on February 19 to 8:00 AM on February 29 UTC.

- Event Description
- Select the number of songs you want to play between one to three, and then select a difficulty. The songs will be automatically selected.
- Use Gs to add Special Effects to your festival. These give you additional bonus effects during the performances.
- Your Friends or other students may come to support you before you start the medley. They can give you a boost as well.
- You will receive Event Pts. for successfully completing a medley. The amount of Event Pts. you receive will vary depending on various factors, such as your final score, combos you managed to string, and Special Effects and support bonuses.
- You can also receive Gold, Silver and Bronze rewards from the Medley Festival. You are more likely to receive Gold and Silver rewards for completing the Medley Festival on higher difficulties.
- Additional Notes
- Your Stamina and combo string will get carried over to the next song if you play more than one song.
- If you fail to complete a medley, you will not receive the completion rewards and receive little or no Event Pts.
- Event Songs
- Selected randomly every time you play.
- If you play more than one song, all consecutive songs will be of the same attribute as the first song.
- If you play more than one song, the same songs will not be repeated for the duration of that medley session.
- There are eight different songs per attribute on each difficulty levels (EXPERT songs are slightly different).
